UNHCR to issue asylum seekers’ certificates to 500 foreigners

United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS reports that the refugee agency or UNHCR in collaboration with the South Sudanese Commission for Refugee Affairs would be issuing Asylum seeker certificates to around 500 foreign nationals at UN House from April 9 to 15.
 
The Update indicates that as of April 9, the estimated number of civilians seeking safety in six protection of civilians sites on UN bases is 117,604.
 
The Updates indicates that Bentiu in Unity State has the highest number of 52,908 followed by Juba UN House with 34,420.
 
It also indicates that Malakal take the third position with 26,596, Bor has 2,374, Melut with 944 and 362 in Wau.
