Western Bahr El-Ghazal State Members of Parliament and the executive have convened to create mutual cooperation after quarrels over Finance Minister’s impeachment.
Governor Rizik Zachariah Hassan acknowledges that the relationship between the executive and legislature is bad and that there is need for a new beginning to cooperate, Voice of Hope reported.
He points out that the dialogue will tackle misunderstanding between the legislature and the executive in matters of budgets, protocol and relations.
State Assembly Speaker Mario Nyibang John welcomes the dialogue, saying it is a good beginning for cooperation and understanding one another.
Some State Members of Parliament are still reported angry with the removal of former Speaker Andrea Mayor Acho insisting in seeking justice against Governor Zachariah.
