Tonj South County Sports Director in Warrap State says their committee last week suspended Got-zila United striker Khamis Santino from playing for one year because of attempting to fight a referee in the field.
Valentino Machar Ater states that they used article number nine in South Sudan Sports rules to punish the striker, Radio Don Bosco reported.
He discloses that the best team selection tournament which began on March 30 and ended on May 7 would resume well after solving the problem.
Don Bosco Radio could not access Got-zila United striker Khamis Santino for comments.
