Community Empowerment for Rehabilitation and Development or CEFORD urges the Local Government to beef up security for protection of people’s lives and property.

CEFORD’s Executive Director Mawa George calls for perpetrators’ accountability through the court of law, Radio Easter reported.

Yei Police Commissioner Jeremiah Maker described the security situation as calm, calling on the population to provide information to security operatives.

The two speakers’ statements came after unknown people locked a pastor inside and set his houses on fire few days ago at Lomugo area of Yei River County.
