Central Equatoria Council of Ministers extraordinary meeting on Wednesday chaired by Governor Clement Wani Konga amended State Transitional Constitution, extending the lifespan of the Governor for three years.
State government spokesperson Suba Samuel Manasseh told journalists that the Council also changed Central Equatoria State Television and Radio into Equator Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Bakhita reported.
He clarifies that the amendment Act 2015 ensures the tenure of the current State Governor and the State Assembly’s extension from July 9, 2015 to July 9, 2018.
