Yei Catholic Bishop on Easter launched the year of the Consecrated Life and Family under the theme: ‘A reconciled Catholic family: The domestic church called to holiness and promotion of evangelization and vocation to consecrated life.”
The year aims at praying for priests, religious and families that gave out their children to serve the Christian community, Radio Easter reported.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe in his homily at Christ the King Cathedral discloses that they during the annual meeting composed a prayer to be translated into local languages of the Diocese.
The Bishop explains that the prayer would be translated into Bari, Arabic, Lingala, Muru, Avokaya, Mundu and Baka languages expected to be ready on the Fourth Sunday of Easter in 2016.
