Wau Diocesan Vicar General while presiding over the Easter Eucharistic celebration at Wau Central Prison encourages inmates not to lose hope in God.
Fr Germano Bernando in his homily to about 300 inmates says the resurrection of Jesus Christ should be an encouragement to prisoners that God is with them, Voice of Hope reported.
He advises them to make use of their sentence period just like St Paul in the gospel by reflecting and making an everyday change in their lives.
Wau Central Prison became one of the most populated and congested prison in South Sudan with a high number of inmates facing disease outbreak.
