Assistant Vicar calls for positive changes during Easter

The Assistant Episcopal Vicar for Clergy, Religious and Administrator for Priestly Council in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio urges the faithful to positively change their wrong attitudes during Easter season.
 
Fr Victor Babie calls on all congregation members to choose things that help people to grow and avoid life destructive ones, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He asks Christians to pray for priests to choose life over death and persevere in God’s service.
 
Fr Babie says Easter empowers Christians to be witnesses of Christ’s forgiveness to continue his mission of healing and peace in families, working places and among friends and visitors.
 
The Assistant Episcopal Vicar assures the faithful that despite hardships in life, the presence of the risen Lord helps Christians to live in peace and develop positive attitudes.
 
He asserts that South Sudan war is the result of hatred and revenge, suggesting that people should come closer to God to get rid of their sins.
 
The Assistant Episcopal Vicar appreciates the faithful who joined the priests in prayers during the Chrism Mass on Tuesday.
