The Catholic Archbishop of Juba called on Christians to overcome difficulties in the Holy Week.
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro in his homily on Palm Sunday at St Theresa’s Cathedral Kator in Juba advised the faithful to enter joyfully into hardships they encounter in families, states and the whole country, Radio Bakhita reported.
Archbishop Lukudu described the Holy Week, as the best of year, asking the Lord to help Christians reach the final victory in Easter.
The Archbishop on the same occasion declared Wonduruba Pastoral Zone a Parish dedicated to St Josephine Bakhita.
He said Wonduruba, a Parish number 15 in the Archdiocese administered by Indian Missionaries, would reduce the workload of St Theresa’s parish.
