Convict repents in court swearing never to steal again

A self-convicted thief at Bazumburu Boma of Bazungua Payam of Yambio County in Western Equatoria on Thursday declared surrendering to born again life in the court.
 
18-year-old Tambua Augustino vowed before local chiefs not to steal anymore signing a pleading document to spare his life, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He confessed that he started stealing because nobody cared for him after his father’s death.
 
The court convert promised setting new life of hard work by building house, making charcoal and opening a farm to earn living.
 
Bazungua Payam Chief Mathew Wirinvuru congratulated the self-proclaimed convert for declaring his repentance, urging public to forgive him as they monitor his activities.
