Africa National Congress or ANC party Chairperson in Western Bahr El Gazal downplayed alienation of the leadership member in Wau who joined SPLM.
Rozeta Tartizio Ugali said Francis Ibrahim submitted his resignation and that his decision was personal, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
She explained that every South Sudan is free to choose any party according to the Transitional Constitution, assuring that ANC works according to democratic principles.
Ms Tartizio said her party would remain strong despite the alienation of the member as it was established on objectives and programs, not individuals.
She disclosed that Mr Francis was the only member who submitted his resignation letter to ANC before joining SPLM and that no other group left from the party with him.
