Yei River County and Municipal Acting Women Association Chairlady in her remarks during the World TB Day celebration on Tuesday, called on citizens to comfort and encourage sick people to enable them live freely.
Nadia Rosaline decried the poor state of Yei Civil Hospital TB Ward, calling for the intervention of the government and partners to improve the situation, Radio Easter reported.
She suggested reinstatement of Maltese hospital procedure of encouraging sick people proper feeding, pointing out that without feeding, people in rural areas would not access urban treatment.
