The Catholic Archdiocese of Juba is preparing to raise Wonduruba Prayer Center to a Parish on Sunday, dedicating it to St Josephine Bakhita.
The delegation of St Theresa’s Cathedral Parish administration is expected to visit the area on Saturday ahead of the official inauguration, Radio Bakhita reported.
St Theresa’s Parish Priest Thomas Igga, two more priests from Juba Archdiocese and one from Yei Catholic Diocese visited the area on January 25in preparation for the inauguration.
The new parish would increase the number of parishes of the Archdiocese to 15 with more Chapels expected to be raised in others areas.
