WES Education Minister urges supervisors to collaborate with chiefs

Western Equatoria Education Minister and Yambio County Education Director on Monday identified areas of concern in Yambio County, urging Payam supervisors to closely collaborate with Boma chiefs for more community mobilization on go to school this year in the State.
 
Pia Phillip Michael urged all school administrators to register more children to enable them get more capitation grant Radio Anisa reported.
 
Yambio County Education Director Jeremiah Ismail hailed the ministry’s collaboration with the county education staff, calling for regular meetings that would help them to provide quality education.
 
He urged citizens to keep on registering their children beginning with family names showing real identification of Western Equatoria communities.
 
Girls Education South Sudan or GESS team leader, Lucy Vivian expressed gratitude for the work the County Education Director is doing.
 
She called for a strong team work between County Liaison Officers and the Payam supervisors for the GESS project to achieve its objectives.
 
In related development Western Equatoria Education ministry received 30 scholarships from the Government of Turkey and that students capable for masters degree should apply on line.
