Over 100 Pilgrims arrive Tombura-Yambio

Over 100 pilgrims from Juba Archdiocese on Thursday arrived safely at Tombura-Yambio Shrine, headed by St Theresa Cathedral Parish Priest, comprising of seven priests and Christians from St. Theresa, St. Kizito, St. Joseph, and Holy Family in Juba Archdiocese.
 
Fr Thomas Iga said Bishop Emeritus Joseph Gasi Abangite in his motto says: ‘Stay with us Lord’, has prompted them to pay homage to the shrine and pray in his name but not to mourn him, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He added that they are ambassadors of peace, carrying peace message to people.
 
Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop Edward Hiiboro Kusala thanked His Grace Paolino Lokudu Loro for the leadership and the love they have manifested.
 
He welcomed the delegation to the diocese, saying it was a historical visit since his consecration, showing the love and peace south Sudan needs.
 
Member of Parliament representing Western Equatoria Susan Perembata assured them of stable security in the state.
