Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese staff on Wednesday gathered at the secretariat to bid farewell to their former ‘committed consultant’, Francis Flout.
Bishop Edward Hiiboro Kusala thanked the Voluntary Missionary Movement for sending Mr Flout to the diocese, acknowledging his work well done, Radio Anisa reported.
The outgoing consultant appreciated the staff’s hospitality in the past two years, expressing happiness especially for his collaboration with the Bishop to develop a successful child protection policy for the diocese.
Human Resource Manager Joseph Ziazia said Francis Flout worked tirelessly as a senior advisor to develop strategic plan and worked closely with the senior management to draft strong policies for all departments in the diocese.
Mr Ziazia commended the outgoing consultant, asking him to be an ambassador of the diocese to the outside world.
Development and Peace Director James Mabu appreciated Mr Flout for taking courage to remain in the diocese when the conflict broke out in the country in 2013.
Head cleaner Mary Matthew and head driver Michael Sebit appreciated Mr Flout for his concerns to all staff, wishing him safe journey and promised to pray for him.
