Mother of Mercy Hospital welcomes new radio sets

The Mother of Mercy Hospital Administrator welcomed and thanked Radio Voice of Peace for offering 15 radio sets to patients.
 
Joseph Makwasi said listening to radio helps calm down the disturbed minds and pain of patients and teaches them how to improve on areas they were ignorant of especially education.
 
He acknowledged that Radio Voice of Peace helped the community build their faith and morals and improved the health and hygiene of the people.
 
The administrator said when people listen to the radio; they tend to abstain from the muddy water during the rainy season to avoid infections.
 
Mother of Mercy Hospital commented that Voice of Peace was useful for their announcements especially the eyes’ operations last November.
 
Listeners commended the station for news and programmes it produced.
 
Voice of Peace Directress Sister Mary Carmen Galicia said the radio sets donated were a sharing received from some donors.
 
She described radio programmes as ‘good companions’ which bring consolation and relaxation to community of Nuba Mountains.
