Wildlife Service Director General wants the Council of ministers chaired by President Salva Kiir to table protection of wildlife to resolve regulation of all organized forces in the country.
General Philip Chol Majak in a press conference in Juba on Wednesday suggested imprisonment or dismissal of any soldier on civilian who kills a wild animal, because if authorities continue talking without action, South Sudan untamed animals would finish.
The Director General complained that some organized forces do not know the importance of wildlife and that the conflict hindered their training arrangements abroad.
General Chol lamented that their department was supposed to establish a very big college for wildlife management, but always they are told that there is no money for almost two years now.
The Director said wildlife used to provide Sudan with about thirty million US Dollars every year, but South Sudan is not benefitting from it due to lack of laws.
