Morobo County Education Deputy Director called on the government, partners and the community to keep investing in girl child education to realize gender equality.
Addressing the International Women Day celebration on Sunday in Morobo, Poni Mary Sebit said educating a girl would bring lasting peace because women are peace lovers and makers, Radio Easter reported.
Deputy Director Poni called on citizens to dedicate themselves to God and work for lasting peace to realize development.
The Director clarified that if South Sudanese embrace prayers, reconciliation and forgive one another, peace would come to the country.
