A Women Association Chairlady in Yei River County called for ‘severe’ punishment for teachers having relationships with learners to avoid spoiling girls’ education future.
Nadia Rosaline suggests that the government should develop a law to punish violators through confiscation of certificates to deny them any future work and act as cautions to the rest, Radio Easter reported.
She cited rape and girls school drop out as key issues that should be collectively address to realize women empowerment and equality at all levels.
