United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs or UNOCHA reported that 14 people died in the beginning of March 2 to 5 due to ongoing conflict in South Sudan.
The UNOCHA update indicates that the shooting in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State on March 2 left five people dead and eight others injured.
It added that on March 4, criminal activities and sporadic shooting continued in Rumbek of Lakes State leaving two students dead.
The update said five people died in a heavy fighting at Duk Duk, Renk areas of Upper Nile State on March 5.
It also said unknown gunmen also killed two men in Akwac village along Rumbek-Wulu road in Lakes State.
