Save the Children on Wednesday announced that the newborn baby that went missing from Nimule Hospital on January 23, 2015 at 2: 00 AM was recovered and reunited with her mother and both are healthy and in high spirits.
In a statement, Save the Children said the police recovered the baby on February 26, following new information provided by a member of the public and that the suspect is now in custody with investigations ongoing
The agency said it worked closely with local authorities and the community to ensure safe return of the baby.
It thanked the community and the police for their commitment to the safe recovery of the child.
