The Yousif Kuwa Teachers’ Training Institute is registering new students for two-year training to graduates as certified teachers.
The Institute Deputy Principal Jamal Abdallah said they started the new intake registration last week with 36 students, but that they are waiting for more trainees, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
Mr Abdallah revealed that many registered students are females, appreciating the move as they encourage girls’ education in Nuba Mountains.
The Deputy Principal called on the students who are interested to join the training as fast as possible because teaching would immediately start after registration.
