Nuba Mountains Education Minister while announcing the reopening of higher schools in March, called on the community to realise the importance of education.
Tijani Tima El Jamri told the community that authority seeking to open up more secondary schools in the region should not be viewed as a way of making business, Radio Voice of Peace reported.
He emphasized that education could neither be bought nor sold, advising parents to support their children to learn.
The Minister confirmed that Karumba, a former Secondary School would be among the schools to be opened with a head teacher already present.
Education ministry which while preparing to open secondary schools in March with over 200 students is hit hard by lack of facilities due to the conflict in the region.
