Rumbek Central County Chief Inspector of Police disclosed that they captured and detained four young men for illegal possession of arms in town and looting goats in nearby village of Akuach.
Colonel Isaac Mayoum Gop said the detainees violated county by-laws and that they would be charged for illegal possession of fire arms, Good News Radio reported.
The Police Inspector cautioned the public against carrying arms in town.
He discouraged youths who are deserting their families in preference to road robbing business.
Inspector Mayoum decried the addiction to revenge attacks, recommending masses to use legal procedures to address grievances.
