A Private ranked policeman working at Police General Headquarters killed his wife and shot himself at Kpirabe residential area behind Yambio State Hospital.
Yambio County Police Investigator Emmanuel Fidele Nyikayo confirmed to Anisa Radio that James Rukenge aged 25 killed himself after shooting death his 45-yeas-old wife identified as Angelina Ambasu on Tuesday early morning.
He reported that the late Rukenge, who absented himself from the night duty to carry the operation, left a written word on the ground stating that ‘I have killed myself’.
Other sources reported that the late Rukenge had misunderstandings with his wife at home because of dowry issue.
Yambio Police condemned such a crime happening for the first of its kind in 2015.
