The number of people of Kwörijik-Luri village in Northern Bari Payam of Juba County killed by Mundari cattle keepers reached nine with ten others wounded.
Northern Bari Payam Acting Paramount Chief James Yacoub explained that three people were killed on Sunday and six others on Monday bringing the number to eight civilians and one soldier.
He said all residents of Kwörijik-Luri are displaced with many at Juba One Basic School and some went to their relatives, calling on the government to rescue the situation.
He appealed to non-governmental organizations and well wishers to assist the displaced people who are in deplorable situation.
Central Equatoria Relief and Rehabilitation Commission Coordinator Satimon Lodu appealed to the state and national governments to stop the current situation that claimed lives of innocent people and displaced hundreds.
He called on the humanitarian aid workers to assist the survivors because they have no food and other materials.
Joel Loro Daud Kwörijik-Luri community representative said now the whole community is displaced following the attack.
The cattle keepers brought their cows to graze at the farm lands of Kwörijik-Luri and prompted disagreement.
