CES Parliament approves Governor’s appointees

Central Equatoria State Transitional Legislative Assembly on Thursday approved Governor’s newly appointed cabinet members.
 
Clement Wani Konga on December 31 2014 issued a gubernatorial decree appointing Hastin Yokwe Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs minister, David Juma Augustine Finance minister, Benjamin Goro Gimba, Commerce, Mining and Industry minister.
 
The decree maintained Suba Samuel Manasseh in Information, Jacob K Lupia in Agriculture and Forestry and Gada James Killa in Animal Resources and Fisheries, Gerald Francis in Local Government, Mary Apai Ayigga in Gender and Social Development and Lilly Kapuki Paul Jurkin in Labour and Public Service ministries.
 
The Governor appointed David Lokonga Moses minister for Physical Infrastructure, Dr Felix Lado Latio Health, Sanitation and Environment minister and Stephen Lado Onesimo minister for Culture, Antiquities, Youth and Sports.
 
Governor Konga appointed Michael John Konga minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development, Professor Paul Lodu Bureng State Commissioner General of Insurance Regulatory Committee and Joseph Kulang John General Managing Director of State Magi Insurance.
 
He put Scopas Dima Jibi Managing Director of Investment Regulatory Authority and Dr Jimmy Wongo as General Managing Director of State Investment.
 
The ministers and the Directors are being sworn in to office at Central Equatoria Government Secretariat in Juba to assume their responsibilities.
 
The Governor on Monday recalled members of the State Assembly back from recess to vet the newly appointed ministers and commissioners.
