Torit Catholic Apostolic Administrator urged the youth not to involve themselves in ‘evil acts’ including rape, alcoholism, killing and bad politics.

Monsignor Thomas Oliha urged the young people to desist from being used by dangerous politicians to destroy the country, Radio Emmanuel reported.

He described the youth as a precious gift from God to South Sudan, urging them to respect elders and every person in the society.

The Apostolic Administrator encouraged the young people to take the example of the Apostles of Jesus who preached about peace, love and forgiveness.

Monsignor Oliha lamented that the youth survived three difference civil wars fought in the country which claimed many of their lives.

The Apostolic Administrator urged the young people to desist from alcoholism, drug abuses, sexual harassment, theft, cattle rustling and killing of innocent people in the society.
