Priest urges communities to make 2015 year of peace

Sacred Heart Tonj Parish Priest in Rumbek Catholic Diocese while presiding over the New Year Eucharistic celebration on Thursday, urged communities especially young people to make 2015 a year of peace, love and unity in the country.
 
Fr Jose Maria said Christians and young people should show gratitude to God and ask for His care in 2015, Don Bosco Radio reported.
 
Teacher Arkangelo Deng urged Tonj communities and Christians to forget the past and share the New Year celebration with love, joy, wisdom and grace of God.
 
He advised people to forgive one another in 2015 and work together for peace to develop the nation.
 
Mama Asunta Adut appreciated the communities and youths of Tonj for celebrating Christmas and the New Year in peace, advising them to leave behind hatred of stealing cows and killing and love one another as brothers and sisters.
 
She urged Christians and young people to choose Jesus Christ first in their lives because He is the way, the truth and the light of the world.
