Yei Catholic Bishop on Sunday at Holy Family Cathedral in Lainya said establishing nursery school in the parish is a collective responsibility of the church and parents.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe told the faithful that it was the responsibility of the parish priests and parents to build a kindergarten, Radio Easter reported.
Former Lainya County Paramount Chief Enosa Laky Yona told parents to regularly take their children to the church to get good advice to grow as responsible children.
Mr Enosa asked the people of Lainya and South Sudan to celebrate the New Year in peace.
