Eastern Equatoria Governor encouraged citizens to join hands with the state government in working for peace.
 
Louis Lobong Lojore in his Christmas message, urged all citizens to participate in the realization of peaceful environment in the State, Radio Emmanuel reported.
 
He appealed to all Eastern Equatoria citizens to celebrate Christmas and New Year in sober minds.
 
Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator Monsignor Thomas Oliha called on youth to refrain from cattle raiding and join hands in peace building.
 
He encouraged young people to use honest and universally acceptable means of attaining animals for marriage.
 
Monsignor Oliha strongly condemned possession of guns by youth and unauthorized people in the state.
