National Education Ministry’s Undersecretary called on the warring parties to avoid politicizing education because learning has no bearing in the current conflict.
Michael Lopuke Lotyam told journalists on Tuesday in Juba that education is an element to transform South Sudanese.
He expressed happiness that the one year crisis did not interrupt education though some schools were relocated or closed especially in Upper Nile States.
The Undersecretary appreciated development partners for supporting education sector.
Mr Lopuke made the statement while announcing the secondary school exams timetable on Tuesday.
