Tombura-Yambio Diocese dispatches priests to parishes for Christmas

Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese on Monday sent priests to various parishes to celebrate Christmas with Christians.
 
Diocesan Episcopal Vicar for Clergy and Religious Fr Justin Gizaza said the main theme for 2014 Christmas is ‘Peace for all and peace in South Sudan as the new born, God is the King of peace’, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He disclosed that the Diocesan Curia decided to send eight priests to parishes without priests and others would join colleagues who are alone in highly populated churches.
 
Fr Gizaza said the priests would listen to Christians’ confession to receive Sacraments of Baptism, and First Holy Communion during Christmas.
 
He revealed that the Diocese assigned Fr Joseph Migido to Our Lady of Fatima Maridi Catholic Parish, Fr Phillip Bingo to Ibba Parish and Fr Abraham Abayo to Remenze Parish joining Fr Victor Babie in the Vineyard of the Lord.
 
Fr Marko Kumbonyaki was deployed to Saints Peter and Paul Naandi Parish and the Diocesan Chancellor Fr Raphael Diko to Li-Rangu while Fr Matthew Sangu joins Nandiangere Parish and Fr Mathew Zaume to Mupoi Parish.
 
Fr Justin Gizaza would be in St Francis of Assisi Gamunakpe Parish, Fr Baptist Kharim would in Tombura Parish to join Fr Santo Gaba and Fr Matthew Bagare joins Fr Joseph Githing of Ave Mario Ngboko and St Thomas Parishes.
