Central Equatoria Government celebrates Christmas as institution

Central Equatoria State Secretariat headed by Governor Clement Wani Konga on Monday celebrated Christmas Day in Juba as an institution for the first time in history of its inception.
 
State Assembly Speaker Naphtali Hassan Gale commended the initiative for organising a Christmas Carol as he wishes all South Sudanese happy Christmas and peaceful prosperous New Year, 2015.
 
He expressed hope that the national government would enable ongoing peace talks in Ethiopia to usher the most desired peace and prosperity for all citizens.
 
The Speaker challenges government leaders to pull efforts together to realize services to citizens as the New Year begins.
 
He believes 2015 would be a challenge to face all obstacles with victory to meet people’s expectations.
 
State Social Welfare Minister Mary Apai recounted last December’s horrors and endurance expressing hope for peace in the country.
 
She urged masses pray to God for peace to prevail in South Sudan.
 
The Minister observed that every citizen needs peace and that praying would make things better for the nation to develop.
