Yei Catholic Diocese Bishop on Sunday called on Lasu Payam residents and local government authorities in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State to stay well by respect and maximum cooperation.

During his homily at Libogo in Assumption Parish, Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe also urged residents to desist from drunkenness and fighting on Christmas Day celebrations.

He encouraged Lasu Payam masses not to allow their faith to sleep, but work hard for church progress.

The bishop told the congregation to ask forgiveness of their sins before God to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in peace with clean hearts.
