Paralegals from different organizations in Yei River County and the Municipality on Friday concluded two-day training organized by South Sudan Law Society on land policy enactment and law implementation advocacy to address land disputes.
One of the participants Maka Tabita Valentino said she learnt how to resolve land related problems and ways of acquiring plots, Radio Easter reported.
Another participant Khemis Benson said he learnt that tackling land issues is a collective responsibility, requiring awareness of land lords and communities.
South Sudan Law Society Legal Aid Officer Data John Losukwa urged the participants to be available to address land issues.
HEKS organization supported the training under its protection of property rights in transition project.
