Western Bahr El Ghazal State police on Thursday saved four court staff members trapped in their account room by a disgruntled SPLA sergeant; firing bullets into the room.
The sergeant identified as Yousif Hamdan stormed the court after losing a case over stolen money last year, demanding for immediate repayment, Voice of Hope reported.
High Court Acting President Noah Gabriel Kaw said Sergeant Hamdan lost 30 thousand South Sudanese Pounds in a court case in favour of a sex worker at Mombasa Hotel in October 2013.
He added that the disgruntled soldier opened a criminal case against his bonk mate for alleged disappearance of 30 thousand Pounds over night business where the woman was proved innocent by court ruling.
Mr Gabriel said the sergeant became angry when the account denied him cash claim by cancellation of the case for insufficient evidence.
The Acting Court President said that the disgruntled soldier was arrested awaiting trial.
