Unknown armed men attacked and looted the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Yei Diocese Bishop at gun point at his residence last night.
Bishop Hillary Luwate Adeba said he was burgled at 9:00 PM and the looters took his two laptop computers, an IPAD, 4,000 South Sudanese Pounds and a church land crusher, Radio Easter reported.
He expressed sadness and disappointment on attacks subjected to religious leaders in the country.
Yei Police Commissioner Nicola Jeremiah Maker confirmed that the police pursued and arrested the criminals at Bungu some few miles to Juba.
He said they sent their forces on Thursday at ten o’clock in the morning to bring the car and the criminals from Bungu to Yei.
