The Presidential Press Secretary announced that the second round of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement intra-party dialogue started in Arusha, Tanzania on Thursday.

Ateny Wek Ateny said the agenda focuses on the re-unification of the SPLM to structure their leadership before going for national convention.

He said the negotiators in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia observed that when peace agreement is signed between the two warring parties, there should be mechanisms to unite the ruling party.

The Press Secretary argued that the peace talks in Addis Ababa and the intra-party dialogue in Arusha are in conjunction because peace could not be realized without uniting the SPLM.
