The Association for Media Development in South Sudan or AMDISS supported by the Norwegian People’s Aid on Wednesday concluded its two-day dialogue forum between media and security in Kwajok, Warrap State.
AMDISS Deputy Chairperson Veronica Lucy Gordon said the forum brought together 25 participants, security and other departments, Don Bosco Radio reported.
She advised all journalists to give correct information to avoid problem between them and security organs.
Ms Lucy urged the participants to apply the skills they learnt in their various stations in Warrap.
The forum was to build mutual understanding, respect and good working relationship between the media and security personnel, create a platform for discussion and resolution of conflicts between them.
It centred on how to deal with situation of difficulties on access to information that overrides the freedom of expression.
