Tonj South Commissioner of Warrap State on Sunday met 15 executive chiefs and five Payam Administrators to discussed peace process in communities.
William Wol Mayom said the aim of the meeting was for chiefs to advise their people to stop revenge killings, tribal conflicts and work for peace, Radio Don Bosco reported.
He also urged communities to forgive one another ahead of Christmas celebration.
The Commissioner asked chiefs to be in dialogue with their people to cooperate among themselves.
Mr Wol advised civilians to adopt greater Tonj conference resolution of working for peace, unity and development.
