The Assistant Commissioners for Agriculture in Yei held a one-day consultative meeting with prominent lead farmers on vegetable production during the dry season.
Edmond Taban Gogo told the media in his office that the meeting was also to instil skills to farmers on quality production, Radio Easter reported.
According to agricultural report, the dry season planting at river banks is suitable for vegetables like tomatoes, cabbage, eggplants, okra and onions among others.
