The Apostolic Nuncio to South Sudan and Kenya said the process of appointing bishops for the Catholic Dioceses of Rumbek, Malakal and Torit already started, but that it would take some time.
Archbishop Charles Daniel Balvo told the press on Friday in Rumbek, Lakes State that the Holy See tasked him to oversee appointment of three Bishops to fill places a left after the death of Bishops Caesar Mazzolari, Johnson Akio, Radio Good News reported.
Malakal Diocese among others was running under an Apostolic Administrator for about four years now.
The Vatican Papal representative is in Rumbek for the celebration of the sixth Diocesan Youth Congress ending on December 15.
