Students of Bishop Abangite College of Science and Technology on Sunday celebrated in Yambio the success and good performance of the Senior Four candidates who sat 2013-2014 South Sudan Certificate exams.
Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop Barani Edwardo Hiiboro Kusala donated on Saturday one bull as appreciation to the successful graduates to celebrate with their teachers and parents.
Speaking during the closure of the School on Saturday, Bishop Hiiboro assured Abangite students of his concern to quality education in the country.
College Principal Fr Joseph Migidi announced that 97 candidates of which 71 are boys and 26 girls passed out of 99 candidates who sat for the exams last year.
He explained that 160 girls were enrolled in Abangite in the 2014-2015, 31 students dropped out and 96 candidates are waiting for exams.
The Principal lamented that in the elapsing academic year; the school has a debt of 30 thousand South Sudanese Pounds unpaid fees.
