Hope Agency for Relief and Development conducted three-day conference on community peace building for different ethnic groups in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal.
HARD Executive Director Cleto Ireneo Kunda told Radio Voice of Hope that the conference aims building peaceful coexistence among communities of Western Bahr El Ghazal.
He said the conference is expected to discuss Takou peace resolutions.
Mr Ireneo said the conference hosted Lou, Fertit and Dinka tribes and discussed conflicts between farmers and cattle keepers with the help of Local Government and traditional authorities.
The Executive Director Mr expected that the conference put forward mechanisms to eliminate the hatred, violence and isolation among communities to live as one people of South Sudan.
HARD is a national non-governmental organization operating in education, food security, peace building, conflict resolution and HIV/AIDS in Northern and Western Bahr El Ghazal States.
