Torit East Primary School Football team on Tuesday beat St Theresa Primary 1-0 in football tournament marking Global Hand Washing Day officiated by Oting Gait with two line men Aider Moses and Edward Oting in Torit.
Joseph Michael of Torit East Primary School scored the only goal in additional minutes of the first half, Radio Emmanuel reported.
The second half of the tournament ended goalless though the two teams had many chances but failed to score.
Torit East Primary School, the winning team was awarded with two boxes of washing soap to help it practice hand washing exercise.
Deputy Director of Water and Sanitation in the State Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Nyika Charles said the match aimed at sensitizing citizens on the importance of hand washing.
