United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS Conduct and Discipline team in collaboration with Western Bahr El Ghazal Education ministry on Monday started a campaign against sexual exploitation and abuse under the Theme: ‘Speak up’ (Mata Askut).
UNMISS Conduct and Discipline Officer Chithra Subramoni said the program aims at raising awareness of secondary school girls on sexual exploitation and abuse as ways of preventing them from the practice, Voice of Hope reported.
She explained that the campaign started with the workshop to empower Education ministry staff on sexual exploitation in order to mobilize the community about its danger.
