Yei River County Commerce, Industry and Investment Department revealed a plan with the support of the World Bank to empower youths by availing financial support to engage in self-reliant business.
Acting Assistant Commissioner Aligo Aggrey said the move aims at equipping the youths to be job creators, Easter Radio reported.
Mr Aggrey announced that only youths between 18 and 35 years of age are eligible to apply for the assistance.
He calls on the youths to turn up for the initiative to get empowered economically.
The official was talking to Easter Radio on Monday in Yei.
