Faith line Ministry organization in Yei River County on Friday launched three-month training for single mothers on tailoring and hair dressing.
The Organization Executive Director Mbaraza Emmanuel said the training aims to empower single mothers to be self-reliant, support their families and pay children in school fees, Easter Radio reported.
One of the trainees, Rose Joel Malakal expressed a great joy for the training, saying the training would overcome some challenges facing single mothers.
Yei Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba urged the trainees to commit themselves to the training in order to go with full knowledge and implement it at their various places.
The training that drew together 40 women is expected to conclude after three months.
